The GAME ON! Youth Sports Program Gives Every Kid A Chance!
Game On! Youth Sports was created by the International Alliance For Youth Sports to address issues that hinder sports programming for children. Game On! Youth Sports gives kids the opportunity to participate in sports, and experience a healthier lifestyle with less chance of choosing negative activities.
IAYS Research and Development Center unveiled at University of Trinidad and Tobago
The International Alliance for Youth Sports (IAYS), in partnership with the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT), unveiled the first-ever IAYS Research and Development Center during a special ceremony in mid March at the Petrotrin Staff Club in Pointe-a-Pierre in Trinidad.
 
The center will undertake research to know and understand the value of sports, as well as monitor children involved in sports around the world to assess its impact on their lives.

First ever Game On! Youth Sports awards presented in Zambia
Sport in Action, in partnership with the National Sports Council of Zambia, recently presented the first ever Game On! Youth Sports awards to highlight the outstanding achievements and contributions of various individuals and institutions throughout the country. This special event also marked Sport in Action’s 10th year of working to improve the quality of life through sport and recreational activities.

Game On! Youth Sports hits the island of Anguilla
In Anguilla, the Game On! program was launched in May 2008, and has since spread to all primary schools across the island. Anguilla has trained teachers and youth coaches in the Game On! approach and now has a fully trained support staff, both in and out of schools. It has also begun making preparations to implement the Game On! curriculum in the new school term, which began in September.

Dominica embracing Game On!
The International Alliance for Youth Sports, in partnership with the Trinidad and Tobago Alliance for Sport and Physical Education (TTASPE) and with the assistance of Mr. Oswald Savarin, Sport Coordinator from the Ministry of Sport, Education and Youth in Dominica, have created an effective approach to make Game On! Youth Sports a major success in Dominica.
