The National Alliance for Youth Sports
The National Alliance for Youth Sports (NAYS) is the parent organization of the International Alliance for Youth Sports (IAYS).  NAYS is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in the United States that has been providing positive sport opportunities for children since it was founded in 1981 by Fred Engh, also the founder and President of the International Alliance for Youth Sports. 
 
The National Alliance For Youth Sports, has become United State’s leading youth sports educator and advocate with national programs that educate administrators, coaches, officials and parents about their roles and responsibilities in the context of youth sports, in addition to offering youth development programs for children.
 
The National Alliance for Youth Sports seeks to make the sports experience safe, fun and healthy for ALL children.  NAYS promotes the value and importance of sports and physical activities in the emotional, physical, social and mental development of youth. NAYS believes that participation in sports and activities develops important character traits and lifelong values.  In addition, NAYS believes that the lives of youngsters can be positively impacted by participation in sports and physical activities if the adults involved have proper training and information.

donate time to help make a difference in the lives of children worldwide
 
   A group of students at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology recently took a break from hitting the books to hit the basketball court instead to raise money for the International Alliance for Youth Sports (IAYS).
   The Pi Lambda Phi fraternity and the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority conducted a three-on-three basketball tournament on campus that raised $1,000 for the IAYS’ Game On! Youth Sports program.

Boys raise money, equipment, and awareness for underprivileged youth
Matthew Birnbaum, 13, and Jared March, 12, are youngsters who know firsthand the value of active sports participation. Their appreciation for sports is so great that it inspired these roller hockey and tennis enthusiasts to contribute to the Global Gear Drive (GGD).
