The Sammy Wilkinson Memorial Foundation (SWMF) was created by the National Alliance For Youth Sports (NAYS) in 2004 in honor of a young boy, Sam Wilkinson, who passed away in a tragic accident the previous year. Sam, also the proud grandson of NAYS’ CEO & President, Fred Engh, possessed a strong love for sports and a passion to help others.
The foundation today helps to raise funds for one of IAYS’ charitable program called Global Gear Drive, in addition to other selected youth-based initiatives centered around improving the lives of children through SPORT.
